United Kingdom - Mark Bosly

Biography

Mark has been the United Kingdom's Chief Air Services Negotiator since 2008. He has negotiated numerous air services agreements (ASAs) worldwide.  Recent highlights include the air transport chapter of the new UK-EU Trade and Cooperation Agreement and negotiation of new, bilateral ASAs to replace EU multilateral arrangements (for instance with the USA and Canada).

He is an active figure on the international aeropolitical stage – including both in ECAC and at ICAO. In addition to chairing ECAC's ECO Working Group, Mark is chair of ICAO's Air Transport Regulation Panel.

Prior to working in aviation, Mark accumulated extensive international policy and negotiations experience in rail, road-freight and road-pricing policy. A career civil servant, with a background as a human resources professional, Mark cut his teeth as a negotiator working hands-on in public sector industrial relations.
