David McMillan - United Kingdom

Biography

David McMillan is a director of London’s Gatwick Airport. He was previously director general of EUROCONTROL, the United Kingdom’s director general for civil aviation, and a vice president of ECAC. He has also served as chair of the Flight Safety Foundation and the ATM Policy Institute.

David started his career in the diplomatic service and served in Morocco, Zimbabwe and the United States, where he was transport secretary for five years.

David is a Fellow of both the Royal Aeronautical Society and the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport; and a correspondent of the Académie de l’Air et de l’Espace.
