Raquel Chinea - Spain
Biography
Raquel Chinea leads the Cybersecurity, Technical equipment and Risk Analysis Department within the Spanish Civil Aviation Authority (AESA), which is the appropriate authority in Spain for the purposes of EC Regulation 300/2008.
Raquel has worked in aviation throughout her career, initially in safety analysis within the national ANSP, addressing cargo and supplies security, and finally focusing on AVSEC risk analysis.
Raquel is currently chair of ECAC’s Common Evaluation Process Management Group, which assesses security equipment against ECAC/EU performance standards, vice-chair of ICAO´s Working Group Threat and Risk, and a member of the Safer Skies Consultative Committee.
