Celebrating 80th anniversary of the Chicago Convention

Chicago, 5 December 2024 — ECAC President, Alessio Quaranta, and Executive Secretary, Patricia Reverdy, attended the celebration marking the 80^th anniversary of the Chicago Convention.

Held in the historic location where the text of the Convention was negotiated and signed, this milestone event offered a chance to reflect on the achievements of the past eight decades while also looking ahead to future opportunities and challenges.

In addition to the commemorative activities, the event provided valuable opportunities for bilateral meetings with international partners, and insightful discussions with members of the ICAO Council.
