Preparations for the ICAO Assembly in the European Safety and Air Navigation Coordination Group
10 June 2022 - The status of the European working papers on safety and air navigation, outreach activities and practical arrangements for the 41st ICAO Assembly were the main topics on the agenda of the 28th meeting of the European Safety and Air Navigation Coordination Group (ESANCG).
On the approval status of the working papers agreed by ECAC Directors General at their last meeting (DGCA/158, 11 May 2022), participants noted that discussions were now underway in the EU Council's Aviation Working Group (AVIA). The ECAC Secretariat reported on outreach activities at the ECAC level, and provided the meeting with an update on the latest organisational aspects of the Assembly.
For information, the ESANCG members were given sight of 12 working papers for the Assembly prepared by the International Coordinating Council of Aerospace Industries Associations (ICCAIA).
