28-29 April 2021 - Key elements of security culture were discussed virtually by more than 20 security experts, including industry representatives, from Armenia, Georgia, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Republic of Moldova, and Ukraine at a workshop on security culture organised by ECAC under the EU-funded and EASA/ECAC-implemented Eastern Partnership and Central Asia (EaP/CA) Project.

27 April 2021 - The draft revised 2021 edition of the ECAC/EU guidelines for European action plans prepared by the APER Task Group was presented to the European Focal Points on State Action Plans and to experts from EAEG Expanded at the second ECAC Environmental State Action Plans Information Seminar, held in April. The participants noted that APERTG’s proposed updates to the previous (2018) edition, which at the time of the seminar were under review by EAEG Expanded, include an adjusted European baseline scenario up to 2050 and a revised description of measures implemented collectively in Europe.

Lisbon and virtually, 3 May - ECAC President Ingrid Cherfils emphasised the importance of strong international cooperation for the success of recovery measures in the short and long term, at the Aviation Day conference organised under the Portuguese Presidency of the Council of the European Union.
Speaking in the first panel of the event, dedicated to the recovery of the aviation sector during and after the COVID-19 pandemic, Ms Cherfils underlined that to respond to the increasingly complex needs of the air transport industry in Europe and to restart aviation after the COVID-19 pandemic, ECAC Member States must combine their efforts and use their collective expertise through strong pan-European cooperation and coordination, in order to deliver a common message.

3 May 2021 - In the opening of today's Aviation Day conference organised in Lisbon and virtually under the Portuguese Presidency of the Council of the European Union, the President of ECAC, Ingrid Cherfils, stressed the importance of strong international cooperation for the success of recovery measures in the short and long run, and highlighted the importance of a common and harmonised approach to restart flights in summer 2021, as an opportunity for aviation recovery.
