Biography
Daniel has worked at the United Kingdom Civil Aviation Authority since October 2022 as a cyber security policy specialist. His work centres on rulemaking and the coordination of policy development in cyber security across government departments and regulators, as well as all safety and security capabilities within the UK CAA. Daniel leads the Study Group on Cyber Security in ECAC, and participates in working groups for the ICAO CySec Panel as well as industry standards development through EUROCAE.
Prior to joining the CAA, Daniel worked in law enforcement, where he gained a wealth of experience in auditing, standards compliance and developing policy and procedures through a variety of technical arenas. Daniel has a degree in computer systems engineering as well as qualifications in education and training. He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Information Security.
