Biography
Para Paranthaman is a Senior Security Inspector at the Civil Aviation Authority of Norway, where he conducts oversight activities across the full spectrum of civil aviation security. In addition, he has special responsibility for aviation security equipment and cyber security, two specialised areas that combine technical, operational and regulatory aspects of civil aviation.
He has more than 25 years of experience in aviation security and has been actively involved in several ECAC expert groups since 2012.
He has contributed to ECAC capacity-building activities in aviation security equipment and technology, including the delivery of training courses and workshops. He currently serves as chair of the ECAC Technical Task Force (TTF).
He also contributes to European aviation cyber,security cooperation through the EASA Network of Cybersecurity Analysts (NoCA), where he leads the working group on Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) and Information Sharing.
