Raymond Wei has a 25-year experience in critical software systems design and development.
He began his career in 1998, working first within the French public administration and later in start-up companies. He then joined Thales in 2004, where he took different technical leadership positions, designing and developing critical software solutions in various business domains. He began working within Thales Land and Air Systems in 2017 as vice president, chief engineer NATO AirC4I programmes, and later as vice president, chief technical officer, Thales Air Defense and AirC4I Business Line.
In 2022, Raymond was appointed Vice President, Chief Technical Officer, Thales Airspace Mobility Solutions Business Line, assuming since the technical leadership of design, production and support to operations of Thales ATM products and projects.
Raymond is a graduate of Ecole Polytechnique X and TelecomParisTech. He is an engineer by training, and holds a master’s degree in economics. He was recognised Thales senior expert in 2009.
