Valeriu Cazan
Chief Inspector for Safety Management and Compliance, Civil Aviation Authority of the Republic of Moldova
Valeriu Cazan is Chief Inspector for Safety Management and Compliance at the Civil Aviation Authority of the Republic of Moldova and serves as the Deputy National Continuous Monitoring Coordinator (NCMC) for ICAO. With over 11 years of experience in civil aviation, he specialises in safety management, regulatory oversight, and the implementation of the State Safety Programme.
He represents Moldova in three ICAO regional working groups and serves as an observer in the EASA Member States' Advisory Body (MAB) and Safety Management Technical Body (SM TeB). He holds an MBA in aviation management from Danube University Krems, Austria.
