Belgrade, 4 November 2025 — The 206th meeting of the Coordinating Committee was held in Belgrade at the kind invitation of Mirjana Cizmarov, DGCA Serbia. During the meeting, Henri van Faassen, DGCA Netherlands, was appointed as the new ECAC Focal Point for Economic matters.
Following the recent consultation with industry stakeholders and the European Commission, the Committee agreed that the next ECAC/EU Dialogue with the air transport industry would focus on “resilience” as its overarching theme. The event – scheduled for October 2026 – will feature three main sessions exploring topics such as drones, the impact of the geopolitical situation, transition and innovation, and economic resilience and competitiveness.
In addition to several decisions on financial matters, the Committee endorsed a number of documents, notably on the activities of ECAC working groups prepared within the framework of the EMTO Task Force. These documents will now be discussed by Directors General at their next meeting.
